Tuesday, September 13: “Moving From What to How: Practical Tools for Safe and Effective Opioid Prescribing for Chronic Pain” an evening of TED-style talks for medical prescribers; CME’s and COPIC RR Point will be available. 5:30-8:30 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. Wednesday, September 14: Prescription Drug Awareness, These Numbers Have Names. Did you know that in the Colorado, more people die of an accidental prescription drug overdose than in automobile accidents? The community is invited to hear stories from real people about their struggles, losses, and successes related to opioid addiction.
