Public Health in the Rockies (PHiR) is more than a conference. It is an important annual milestone for our public health community. This year, given COVID-19 and local and state guidance, we will be going virtual!
To support students and early career professionals in attending the virtual 2020 PHiR, the 2020 Scholarship Application is now open! This scholarship is available to current students (enrolled in high school, college or university and NOT Colorado School of Public Health) and eligible early career professionals (those who are within 5 years of graduating from their highest anticipated degree).

We will consider demographic differences to support individuals’ ability to attend the virtual 2020 PHiR, with regard to those who identify as being a part of an underserved and underrepresented population.

Please note the Application Deadline is Sunday July 5, 2020. You will be asked to answer questions related to demographics, student or early career information, 3 short essays, and to submit a resume. Your resume should include your academic and professional experiences, accomplishments, and skills which will allow us to better assess scholarship fit and if granted a scholarship, where your skill sets may be best utilized at the conference and with the larger Colorado Public Health Association. A few resume-writing resources are listed below:
