The Bring Naloxone Home campaign launches with a special event at the State Capitol in Denver on Thursday, August 1st, at 10:30 a.m. The event will be held on the West Steps.
Join us as speakers share moving stories about being saved by naloxone and how they saved lives with the medication.
The opioid crisis has taken an enormous toll on Colorado, with 543 people dying in 2018 because of opioid overdoses. Naloxone could have stopped those overdoses and saved lives – and that’s why we want you help us spread the word and encourage Colorado to Bring Naloxone Home!

2019 SNOCAP Convocation and CCTSI

Community Engagement Research Exchange and Poster Session!
|
Location: Sheraton Denver West - 360 Union Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80228
|
Dates: Friday, September 20th, 3pm–8:30pm through Saturday, September 21st, 7:30am–12:00pm
|
Each year, SNOCAP hosts a convening of practices, patients/community members, and other partners. This is a time to come together, share struggles and successes, find community with others, and plan ahead for future work together. SNOCAP members share issues that are arising as priority topic areas, and we work together to try to address many of these issues. Progress on past priority topics will be shared, and there will be time to generate new ideas. Additionally, this year we are going to focus on the voices of our practices and patients that have participated in SNOCAP work in the past to see how others can learn from their experiences and hear lessons learned from the field.

Utilization Management Webinar
August 8, 2019 11:30 am – 1:30 pm MT
|
All hospitals, including CAHs, must have a Utilization Management (UM) Plan which guides the process used to evaluate all services provided by the hospital facilities and the health care providers. In addition to assuring optimal healthcare delivery and positive patient outcomes, sound UM practices are integral to achieving successful results during surveys and audits. Experts from the Joffit Group, will discuss the components involved in setting up an efficient UM process and will review CRHC’s Utilization Management Resource for Critical Access Hospitals: a concise, easy-to-use tool for hospital providers and staff that explains the role of UM in various CAH settings including: Inpatient, Outpatient, Observation, and Swing Bed.
