Did You Know?
Gov. Jared Polis has once again declared August to be Colorado Naloxone Awareness Month, showing the state’s support of this life-saving medication.
On Tuesday, Aug. 31, people around the world will mark International Overdose Awareness Day, which commemorates those lost to drug overdoses and shows the impact those deaths have to family, friends, and the community. In 2020, a total of 1,477 residents of Colorado were killed by drug overdoses, and preliminary 2021 data has recorded 686 deaths. Let's save lives and bring awareness to this important topic.
