WEEKLY PRODUCE SHARES DISTRIBUTED TO PAGOSA SPRINGS WIC FAMILIES
SJBPH's Pagosa Springs WIC office partnered with Nourish Colorado and Taproot Cooperative to provide free, weekly, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) produce shares to WIC families from June to September. Throughout the 13 weeks of the program, 65 produce shares were distributed to approximately 30 different WIC families.

The mission of the EMS Department at Pueblo Community College is to provide each student with the opportunity to become competent, entry level Emergency Medical professionals. The EMS department of Pueblo Community College strives to provide EMS learning experiences that respect the diversity of our students. EMS faculty provide students with classroom and clinical instruction to acquire the knowledge and practice the skills identified in course objectives using varied and appropriate teaching methods. They plan learning activities to meet program outcomes based on the standards set by policies, legal and other regulatory requirements, and acceptable practice.

- Teaches courses as assigned within faculty workload guidelines including evening and weekend courses. May be assigned to teach at outreach sites, in person or remote.
- Maintains regularly scheduled office hours. Serves as faculty advisor for potential and current students.
- Lab management including skill instructor scheduling and ensuring adequate equipment and supplies are available for classes.
- Participates in outreach activities, Participates in local, regional and state EMS activities and committees as appropriate.
- Assists the department chair with the following: coordinates the development and revision of curriculum and development of new course offerings and program expansion, curriculum review, course schedules, catalog revisions, graduation planning sheets, assists in establishing, implementing and analyzing assessment of student learning data and making program improvements as indicated.
- Responsible for ensuring that state and national accreditation policies are followed and that the programs remain in good standing with all overseeing state and national EMS education agencies. Assists in self-studies and program reviews as required.

REGION 9 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT OF SOUTHWEST COLORADO, INC.
SWORD Project Coordinator
This part-time contract position will support the implementation of regional opioid abatement strategies that guide the distribution of funds to address opioid and other substance misuse gaps and seek viable, sustainable, substance treatment solutions to fill existing gaps in our communities. The position works closely with Region 9 and will perform professional work coordinating and implementing the priorities of the SWORD Governance Council based on their two-year plan.
The two-year plan adheres to the approved uses for opioid settlement funds including but not limited to: • Treatment of opioid use and broader substance disorder and its effects • Intervention and medically assisted treatment programming • People in treatment and recovery, • Implementation of sober living or transitional housing • SWORD administrative costs for any of the approved purposes on this list.

Instructor - Radiological Technology (Clinical)
Pueblo Community College is accepting applications for its part-time instructor pool for Academic Year 2023-2024 (Fall, Spring and Summer terms). Instructors may teach a full 16-week term, an abbreviated term, or limited hours, depending on discipline/subject. Qualified applicants will be contacted only when a need is identified.

This position specifically exists to provide classroom, laboratory, or related instruction under the supervision of the Department Chair and is responsible for planning and providing student instruction in accordance with approved syllabi, curriculum guidelines, and required program standards. Instructor must adhere to the laws, policies, procedures, rules, and applications which govern and affect the college, including the fiscal rules of the State of Colorado.
