The mission of the EMS Department at Pueblo Community College is to provide each student with the opportunity to become competent, entry level Emergency Medical professionals. The EMS department of Pueblo Community College strives to provide EMS learning experiences that respect the diversity of our students. EMS faculty provide students with classroom and clinical instruction to acquire the knowledge and practice the skills identified in course objectives using varied and appropriate teaching methods. They plan learning activities to meet program outcomes based on the standards set by policies, legal and other regulatory requirements, and acceptable practice.

- Teaches courses as assigned within faculty workload guidelines including evening and weekend courses. May be assigned to teach at outreach sites, in person or remote.
- Maintains regularly scheduled office hours. Serves as faculty advisor for potential and current students.
- Lab management including skill instructor scheduling and ensuring adequate equipment and supplies are available for classes.
- Participates in outreach activities, Participates in local, regional and state EMS activities and committees as appropriate.
- Assists the department chair with the following: coordinates the development and revision of curriculum and development of new course offerings and program expansion, curriculum review, course schedules, catalog revisions, graduation planning sheets, assists in establishing, implementing and analyzing assessment of student learning data and making program improvements as indicated.
- Responsible for ensuring that state and national accreditation policies are followed and that the programs remain in good standing with all overseeing state and national EMS education agencies. Assists in self-studies and program reviews as required.

Faculty, Nursing - Mancos, CO
This position specifically exist to provide student instruction in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, and maintain required program standards for the Nursing Department. In addition, this individual works with the Department Director, SW branch campus coordinator and other Nursing Program faculty in establishing laboratory schedules, student advising, recruitment, assists with assessment and evaluation of student learning, and participates in the program’s evaluation and continuous improvement process and engages in personal professional development. The position reports, on a day-to-day basis, to the Mancos campus nursing coordinator.

Coordinator, Behavioral Health Program Pueblo, CO
This new grant-funded position will support the behavioral health program, including all certificates, degrees, and initiatives within the program. This includes grant management, data collection, outcome reporting, recruiting and student pathway advisement. Occasional travel to other PCC locations may be expected.
