Tribal Opioid Response Grants
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2018 Tribal Opioid Response grants (Short Title: TOR). The program aims to address the opioid crisis in tribal communities by increasing access to culturally appropriate and evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using one of the three FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). The intent is to reduce unmet treatment need and opioid overdose related deaths through the provision of prevention, treatment and/or recovery activities for OUD.

The purpose of the Business Development Specialist position is to enhance marketing efforts of food and agricultural products that are grown, raised or processed in Colorado. Duties include: developing statewide workshops to help companies with start-up and marketing issues; fielding calls and answering questions regarding business development, rules/regulations, grant and funding opportunities; and counseling producers/processors in the areas of marketing plans, market research, promotional marketing, supply chain management, new market opportunities and marketing communications.The position identifies new market opportunities for companies, understands gaps in the value/supply chain and helps companies identify potential niche markets. The position works with other organizations to identify companies that may need Business Development Services and directs company leads to other staff as necessary. Responsibilities include assisting with: VISTA recruitment and retention; program marketing; policy revision; document creation, revision, and upkeep; performance measure and data tracking; and training creation and presentation. San Juan Basin Public Health’s Single Entry Point department is hiring a Programs Case Manager. This position provides ongoing case management services to elderly and disabled individuals within La Plata County. Duties include conducting functional assessments, developing individualized service plans, nursing facility assessments, monitoring client's services and needs, adapting services to meet changing needs of clients, and entering pre-authorization requests in the Medicaid system for providers to billing. Tasks also include entering data in the state database in a timely manner and overseeing the utilization and quality of services. The applicant must have excellent organizational skills, be able to multi-task, as well as advocate for clients. A bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related filed is required. The pay range for this position is $19.24 - $27.90 per hour plus benefits. Although the full salary range for this position is provided, appointments are typically made at or near the range minimum.
