The ceremony commences precisely at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans' organizations and remarks from dignitaries. Executive Director for SWCAHEC
Southwestern Colorado Area Health Education Center (SWCAHEC) is seeking applications for its’ Executive Director position. SWCAHEC is a non-profit organization that strives to improve rural health in the eight southwest counties of Colorado. SWCAHEC has a strong emphasis on supporting rural primary care and community health, and on developing a pipeline of students who will eventually be our region’s health professionals. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership of the organization in a manner that supports and guides SWCAHEC’s mission.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Advanced Nursing Education Workforce Program (ANEW)
NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY (HRSA-19-003) Fiscal Year 2019 Application Due Date: January 8, 2019
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for the fiscal year (FY) 2019 Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) Program. The purpose of this program is to support innovative academic-practice to educate primary care Nurse Practitioners (NP), clinical nurse specialists (CNS) and nurse midwives (NM) prepared for the unique challenges practicing in rural and underserved communities.
|
HRSA expects approximately $37,250,000 to fund approximately 53 recipients. You may apply for up to $700,000 per year, of which $350,000 may be used for student traineeships. In order to be eligible for an award, applicants must request both traineeships and academic-practice program infrastructure funds.

NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY (HRSA-19-004) Fiscal Year 2019 Application Due Date: November 28, 2018 Apply for this grant on Grants.gov.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2019 Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP). The purpose of this program is to increase the number of qualified nursing faculty. The program provides funds to accredited schools of nursing so these institutions can offer loans to students in advanced education nursing degree programs. Upon graduation, in exchange for full-time employment as nurse faculty, the program will pay off 85 percent off the faculty member’s loans.

- The West End Outreach Coordinator conducts outreach to and works directly with members of the West End community, educating and enrolling individuals into relevant public benefit and social support programs and providing care coordination to Medicaid clients. The Coordinator is a full time position
- The Community Health Worker for Telluride provide wellness screenings, education, and referrals, and works collaboratively with clients to set health-related goals and develop plans to meet those goals. She/he will also provide care coordination to Medicaid clients. The Community Health Worker is a full time position

The Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, psychological diagnosis, treatment planning, group therapy, individual therapy, and discharge planning. The BHP is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the unit's community relations program. Addressing the needs of the students and participates in crisis intervention.
