Local and State Mask Orders
Durango, and the entire state, have a mask order when in public places. If you can stay 6 feet away from others while outside, you can take your mask off, but when you are less than 6 feet away, wear your mask.
Masks are required to enter all businesses in the area.
When the Downtown sidewalks are crowded, please wear your mask at all times.
BID's Ambassadors are handing out FREE masks at their kiosk located at 724 Main Ave., in front of Grassburger and next to Durango Rivertrippers and Adventure Tours.
Free masks are also available at the Durango Welcome Center, 8th and Main.

Strengthening Family Coping Resources (SFCR)
Strengthening Family Coping Resources (SFCR) is a peer-to-peer program aimed at building resilience during stressful times and is ideal for caregivers of young children ages 0-6. As we contend with the on-going stressors of COVID-19, Resilient Colorado is excited to offer the SFCR program to caregivers of young children. Our hope is this will help increase coping skills and build resilience for children and adults alike.
SFCR relies on natural healing and evidence-based coping resources to provide a behavioral- and skills-based framework for strengthening family processes. If you care for young children in any capacity, we would love to have you join our SFCR group! We believe that caregivers can use SFCR skills to create “positive chain reactions and interactions” with effects that could be seen for many generations to come.

The Provider Education Work Group invites you to submit an abstract for a virtual poster session that highlights one of the following related to opioid and other substance use disorders in Colorado:

- Research
- Quality improvement plans in your medical practice
- Educational initiatives
- Public policy
- Other interesting programs or projects that you would like to highlight!
If selected to present, you would be asked to prepare a 10-15 minute presentation over Zoom in the month of November. Exact dates are TBD. Please note, that while this program is sponsored by the Provider Education Work Group, we invite any individual, program, or organization (e.g. state or local public health, community coalitions, pharmacists, wellness organizations) addressing the opioid crisis and/or addiction in Colorado to submit an abstract. This is an opportunity for you to share your work, or the work of your community, with colleagues from around the state.

The deadline for abstract submissions is October 2nd, at 5:00pm, with notifications going out by October 14th. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words. While there is no specific format requirement, please be concise in explaining purpose, any applicable methodologies, results, and conclusions. Adolescent Reproductive Health For Primary Care Providers

This series offers clinically relevant topics for primary care providers who provide or are looking to build, expand, and improve care to preteens through young adults. Once completed, participants will be able to evaluate and manage common conditions in adolescent reproductive health. Over the course of six sessions, the series will include an overview of adolescent reproductive health issues, best practices in adolescent contraception and common adolescent gynecology concerns.
