Comfort Keepers of Durango is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor who delivers care to clients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation and oversees the medically directed services of the agency. He or she effectively interacts with clients, provides information on health maintenance and disease prevention, and provides case management for patients while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. The RN Supervisor will travel to client homes within the service area to ensure proper care is being provided and that procedures and policies are being followed.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, holds a current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in this state, and has at least five years of nursing experience with at least one year of home health experience and two years in a management or supervisory position. He or she must have a current CPR certification and a copy of an updated TB test results/chest x-ray. In addition, he or she has a genuine desire to work with the elderly or disabled, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and current automobile insurance and fluent English speaking and writing skills.
