San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist for our Regional Oral Health Program. Duties include scheduling and providing screenings to area schools. Providing client referrals to other community programs as needed. Plans and implements assigned oral healthcare and disease prevention programs and provides training and resource services to healthcare providers. Participates in the assessment of community oral health needs. Assists with program services outreach activities and required interventions. Facilitates Oral Health Coalitions in Montezuma and La Plata counties. Maintains program files and data. The qualifications for this position are an Associate degree in dental hygiene and one year related dental hygiene experience or and equivalent combination of education and job experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation. State of Colorado Dental Hygiene certification. This position is scheduled to close 10/14/2019, or until an adequate pool is reached. The hiring range for this position is $24.51 to $30.64 New hires are typically made at or near the minimum of the hiring range; the full wage range is included on the job description. Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Community Outreach Manager position supports the continued growth and development of Tri-County Health Network’s (TCHNetwork) health equity work. This involves internal capacity building, community outreach and engagement, building community relationships, providing cultural competency education and resources throughout the region, and overseeing cultural inclusivity and advocacy activities. The Manager is also the lead in managing multiple TCHNetwork Community Outreach Programs across our rural region, including our programming that works to empower, engage, organize, and advocate on behalf of our multicultural population. Duties include managing day-to-day program operations; supervising and developing field team; providing direct services to clients; establishing relationships with stakeholders; promoting programs; improving staff productivity; increasing client participation; and ensuring program sustainability.
