Using Culture as a Treatment Modality in Substance Abuse Treatment & Recovery with Kathryn Jacket, CAC III
The training will provide a southwest Colorado Indigenous perspective to health providers. Kathryn will share her experiences in serving Native American patients impacted by substance abuse disorders. This training is in a hybrid format for the first hour of the two-hour training. This will allow providers who are unable to join us in person to participate in the presentation remotely. In the second hour, we will transition to an exclusive in-person workshop. During this workshop, participants will engage in a hands-on cultural beading activity. This will provide firsthand experience of using culture as a treatment modality in substance abuse treatment and recovery. Seating is limited for in-person.
