NEW JOB OPENING – Community Health Programs Associate (CHPA)

SWCAHEC is hiring a Community Health Programs Associate (CHPA) to support existing programming in healthcare professions education and community health. The CHPA plans, coordinates, and facilitates shared learning collaboratives, and/or other community meetings that are consistent with the needs of students, the healthcare industry, and community members. Additionally, the CHPA collaborates with community partners in the implementation of multiple projects including a HRSA Rural Opioid Grant and a Community Health Worker Training Program. Project activities include creating health-related educational materials for healthcare providers and community members, planning and promoting health education events, and supporting existing healthcare career pipeline initiatives. This is a full-time 40 hours/ week, exempt position. Salary ranges from $46,000-$52,000 based on experience. To view the full position description, please click here.

JOB OPENING – Community Health Worker (CHW)
This is a part-time position that will allow you to earn extra money around your personal schedule. You will educate your friends, family, & community about COVID-19 and the benefits of getting vaccinated. You will help people get their vaccination by helping locate the closest and easiest vaccination clinic, making and reminding them about appointments, and helping to arrange for transportation.

The pay will be $25 per hour, 1-10 hours per week (around your own personal schedule).
